Oh, we had a very busy day! We visited two castles and a pretty small town, hiked to weird rock formations, tasted wines twice and at the end of the day we still had energy for a dance party.

Since it was a wine harvest tour, we started the day with wine harvest. The day was busy again with beach and beer stops and at the end of the day the team relaxed in the thermal lake of Hévíz.

This year’s tour was really epic! Altogether 16 cyclists from all over the world (USA, Australia, Canada, England, Argentina, Spain and Hungary) became a real team. I really enjoyed the fun we had together and I could start it again right now.

The last day was rather about sailing than cycling. But we didn’t mind it.

Nice riding on a beautiful landscape and trying to avoid getting soaked in storms. And we managed!

A short stage packed with action. Two castles, an underground lake, weird rock formations and, of course, beach, beer, and dinner with a beautiful view. And all these within only 30 kms.

Easy cycling, swimming in the lake Balaton and later in the thermal lake, beer, wine tasting and an evening stroll in a charming small town. What a wonderful day again!

Here we go again! We started our epic tour around the Lake Balaton. The weather was hot, so we had to make frequent stops. Having fun in a good company in a beautiful environment: the best you can have for a summer holiday.    

Little cycling and much sailing on the last day. Alas the tour is over but we are planning to return next summer
